Strippers and Red High Heels

Last week you eliminated David Hernandez. He wasn't the worst but definitely near the bottom. I hated to see him go, being a stripper, there was a lot of potential blog material. I was looking forward to "stripper pole" night on American Idol. Now if we want to see David, we will have to go to the clubs in Phoenix. If you do make the trip down there, I need to warn you: If you put a $20 bill down his g-string, DON'T go fishing for change. Trust me, that will get you kicked out of the club.

This is the second week of Beatles songs. Did they all just become available? Six years of American Idol and we've never had a Beatles night. Now we get two in a row? Does Michael Jackson still own these? Maybe this is how he saved Neverland from foreclosure.

FOX has a well deserved reputation for bringing us the lowest levels of trash television. I swear when you move into the mobile home park, the only station you get from your satellite dish is FOX. In spite of Kristy Lee Cook, they decided they needed to dumb down this years show even more. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Kellie Pickler and "Red High Heels". You heard me right, she will be performing (if that's what it's called) on tonights results show. There goes any other plans I had for a Wednesday night.

OK here's my take on Beatle's Part II.

1. Jason Castro, he has the voice and the eyes, I could take him home and have him sing French songs to me all night long. But I digress, he really was the best tonight.

2. David Cook

3. David Archuleta, getting better but I still haven't seen anything that makes me just want to crown him the automatic winner.

4. Carly Smithson

5. Brooke White

6. Sayesha Mercado

7. Ramiele Malubay

8. Michael Jones

9. Chikezie Eze, a disappointment for me tonight. I expected better.

10. Amanda Overmyer

11. Kristy Lee Cook doing "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away", if she stays one more week, we will all be looking for somewhere to hide.

OK there it is, my unbiased opinion. Between Kristy Lee and Kellie Pickler, I think I will grab a fistfull of dollars and head on down to Phoenix.
